Lori Dubin

My name is Lori Dubin, and I am the principal lawyer at Dubin Legal Advocacy. My passion for practicing law stems from my unique background and victorious results in the dual representation of individuals facing family and criminal law challenges concurrently.

My legal career began at Osgoode Hall Law School, where I was chosen to participate in their exclusive intensive program in criminal law. This opportunity allowed me to receive personalized mentorship from seasoned and renowned criminal lawyers.

After completing the program, I completed my articles with a prominent criminal law firm in 2003. This experience equipped me with the skills needed to achieve successful outcomes in criminal law cases.

Upon being called to the bar in 2004, I quickly transitioned from a junior associate at a distinguished law firm to establishing my successful practice in 2005. While unintentional, the majority of my cases involved domestic violence allegations stemming from family disputes.

To better understand the family law implications of my clients' criminal cases, I immersed myself in studying family law concepts. Seeking to refine my family law expertise, I joined a family law firm. During my tenure as a family law associate, I specialized in handling cases at the intersection of family and criminal law, honing my skills in navigating complex legal matters.

With a deep understanding of both areas of law, I have consistently secured favorable settlements and court orders for my clients. I take great pride in my work and am grateful for the praise I receive from clients and peers who have witnessed my proficiency in managing high-conflict cases.
